Bridals Salt Lake City | Wheeler Farm | McKenna

The last few hours before sunset by far beat any other time of the day! McKenna wanted to do her pictures at Wheeler Farm, which I loved because we caught the perfect time of day to capture that golden glow, of course she doesn’t need it since she is already gorgeous:)

I love how vintage is so in right now:) We were all laughing about it together… guys just don’t always get the things we love. There is just something so romanticized about those 40’s to 50’s that makes for the perfect elegant touch should you be thinking of adding somthing vintage to your whole wedding look. Love it!

McKenna is a dancer and does that crazy thing with her legs that most of us wish we could pull off:)  Grant it I’ll shoot photos with people jumping up in the air and having fun time to time but this right here took skill. I mean seriously look at all that poof! And to imerge from all of it upon landing is a miracle!

Ok so I HAD to post this one! I joke around a lot on shoot and was like “ok so go over there and sit by the outhouse and pose for me” – totally joking:) then she’s all like “OK” all into it and goofing off, it was pretty funny though.  And… although kind of gross I still think it is pretty cute, I’ve always loved the little moon carved into these old things event though it is what it is:)

McKenna had a lot of friends and family attend for a little outting of the day, but it was fun to watch, I haven’t have this many people ever attend this sort of session, she defineatly had plenty of help!

What to bring with you on a bridal photoshoot:

1. Mom, and/ or a sibling or bridesmaid to help with the dress, the bouqet etc.
2. Depending on the location, a sheet for dirtier locations to lay under the dress.
3. Water! Especially if it is in the middle of July! Wedding Dresses are hot. And also you want to look healthy instead of flushed red in your pictures.
4. A mirror
5. Lipgloss
6. Handkerchief – if it is hot, it will be nice to wipe off any noticable sweat.
7. An alternate pair of shoes… depending on what your shoes are and the location. Flat slip on’s are good if you have heels otherwise for treking through a field, plus it will illiminate the possibilities of a twisted ankle ouch!
8. Extra bobby pins
9. A saftey pin or 2 just in case
10. Yourself! In advance it is important to drink plenty of water, get plenty of sleep, get a little exercise and eat healthy!
